Money Saving Monday

There were a lot of great deals out this weekend at our local Kansas City grocery stores! This deal is good through Tuesday:

when you buy any 5 General Mills products you will automatically get $5 off your purchase at the register when you check out (you will need to use your Hen House card).

There are a few items priced at .99 which means FREE FOOD! You can use this promotion once a day to get 10 items (today and tomorrow) for FREE!

.99 totino's party pizzas OR pizza rolls
.99 green giant vegetables & sauce
.99 betty crocker cake mix (boxes)
.99 betty crocker muffin mix (pouches)
.99 betty crocker bisquick biscuit mix (pouches)

When the deal first started (last Wednesday) there was NO limit to how many times you could use the 5/$5 off in one trip - CRAZY!

I went out Thursday morning to get in on the deal:

Using coupons and the buy 5 General Mills items and get $5 back, I got all of this for only $19.00!!

On Thursday afternoon Hen House changed their system so that the deal could only be used once a day... oops
