When we began, I don’t think we even realized it. We weren’t looking for the ride, we were merely going. Or following. Or both. And then somewhere along the way, I looked down at your hand holding mine and realized I never wanted to go too far away from your touch, from your capable fingers, your flowing heart.

Together we have built a life and lived a dream. Becoming your wife has been the joy of my existence. If I accomplish nothing else before the last note of this sweet symphony that we call our life rings out, know that I have accomplished more than I imagined possible. I have had the exquisite opportunity of living day after day, year after year knowing what it feels like to give and receive true love.

I fall asleep every night with your palm against the warm skin of my growing belly and wake up to your whispers in my ear. I need nothing else in the world but a hundred more years of you and only you.
